| anyone know what kind of codes do Fraps use it, to record a cut? btw anyone got some nice codec pack that wanna show? | |

| When i used to do it fraps just records a raw file of the game youre playing. Make sure you have lots of space it takes quite a bit of space then you encode it, i used to do it in Divx format using, arrgh what was it called Oh yeah Virtual Dub | |

| anyone got working fraps? my fraps write record in .fps1 instead VFW (windows codec, as i allready view the record in Windows Media Player once) as VirtualDub wants? can't even load in virtualdub | |

| i have some problems with fraps... the sound is recorded, but its so quiet that i max out volume on my speakers and still hear just a little, but sound from a microphone is recorded in normal volume...
anyone have an idea what can i do? | |

| You can raise the volume with an editor (like VirtualDub) or turn the sound you're recording louder? Also, check the codec you're using, maybe it's recording with a sh1t quality. As a last resort, record the video then record the audio and mix them. | |
